4.5m³ Front Lift Bin

The 4.5m³ Front Lift Bin is designed for situations requiring the disposal of a large volume of waste material in and around the general public or in areas where hygiene is a priority.ie produce markets, the rear of shops etc. Unique features allow the user to control many aspects of the waste materials properties.

Odour can be controlled with fitted, UV stable plastic lids. The lids not only control odour, but serve as a pest deterrent as well. The 4.5m³ has two fitted lids allowing for restricted opening of the bin. Both lids are fitted with lid stays to allow individual openings to be varied if required. This bin is large and care must be taken when opening or closing the lids. Access to sensitive waste can be restricted using the lockable lug and chain fitted to all Flow Force manufactured bins. The feature allows users to lock one or both lids. The lid stay design enables the operator to position the lid in one of three predetermined positions, slightly open, half open or fully open. The lids also have the capacity to fold back completely and rest on the rear of the bin. This bin, under normal conditions, is not fitted with wheels, but has provision to be fitted should the customer require. The 4.5m³ has been structurally engineered to hold 4.5 cubic metre of solids. It therefore has the potential to weigh 4.5 metric ton. This capacity will limit the movement of the bin when full. Movement by persons is not recommended as personal injury may occur.

All front Lift Bins are cleaned and emptied using a purpose built truck fitted with forward facing tynes that locate into side pockets fitted at a standard height to all bins The bin is raised over the top of the truck and emptied into the truck’s on board compactor unit. The empty bin is then repositioned on the floor for refilling.

All Units are fitted with a 50mm bung that can be screwed closed, thus making the unit water tight or removed to allow excess water to be removed.

REMEMBER IT IS AN OFFENCE TO ALLOW CONTAMINATED WATER TO ENTER THE WATERWAYS.

Front Lift Bins can be manufactured and supplied without Lids and Wheels or fitted with non-marking wheels for internal use in factory’s and offices.
Standard material to manufacture is 3mm & 5mm mild steel construction.
The standard finish applied to the product is enamel paint.
Structural design and material selection of these units are in accordance with AS2359.1.
Welded fabrication of the product is in accordance with AS 1554.1 SP.
