COIL PROBE

Carpet poles are designed to permit a forklift to carry hollow cylindrical rolls. Entry into the core is simplified with the smooth tapered tip of the pole. Coil Probes are used for lifting large, heavy coils of steel or wire. Each coil handler is manufactured with a smooth rounded tip to simplify entry into the coil core.

The pole/coil probe attachments slide over the standard forks fitted to the forklift until the retention pins can be positively locked into place.

The slip-on pole/coil probe usable lengths are 2800m for the long pole and 1300m for the shorter version, and are manufactured from 4140 grade steel. The minimum supporting fork length is 1000mm with a maximum width of 122mm x 60mm thick. The lost load on all slip-on poles/probes is 1050mm.

The standard finish applied to the product is ‘safety yellow’ enamel paint.

Structural design and material selection of this attachment is in accordance with AS 2359.1.

Welded fabrication of this product is in accordance with AS1554.1 SP.
